Résumé : |
There are various neutralising agents available to the paint industry. The ost common neutralising agents on the market are standard products, such as caustic soda (NaOH) and ammonia or the muttifunctional additive 2-Amino-2- Methylpropan-1-ol (AMP).
Clariant recently introduced a sugar¬based speciality amine (Glucamine) developed specifically for use as a multifunctional performance additive in eco-friendly, water-based paints. In order to create a comprehensive assessment of these neutralising agents, this article considers environmental, health and safety aspects with the comparison of performance characteristics. |
