Résumé : |
With the development of innovative yarn structures and the required technologies, the ITM proved that highly oriented, homogenously blended card webs, slivers and high-performance hybrid yarns from recycled carbon fibers (rCF) can be produced for load-bearing composite components. In addition, the technical challenges and the technological lirnits of the production of high-performance yarns made from rCF could be shown. This provides the opportunity to transfer the ITM-developed process chain for hybrid yarn production at reproducible quality into industrial application. Furthermore, the research efforts allow a transfer of the findings in the next step for a requirement-adapted yarn production from pure rCF for thermosetting applications, and from other high-performance fiber materials. |
