Résumé : |
The present study examines the performances of an new, ultra-absorbent, natural diatomaceous earth for deodorants. This innovative mineral is evaluated through water and oil absorption tests, user tests (roll-on formulations tested by 33 panelists) and odor tests (odor intensity and olfactometric analysis with synthetic perspiration). It has been demonstrated that this new, highly absorbent, diatomaceous earth prevents unwanted moisture and keeps the underarms dry. Moreover, this diatomaceous earth demonstrates the capacity to effectively capture volatile synthetic perspiration odor molecules. finally, this 100% natural mineral combines excellent sweat and odor absorption properties. |
