Résumé : |
The SPF (Sunburn Protection Factor) is a quantitative efficacy parameter of a cosmetic sunscreen describing UVB-protection. It is measured in vivo on human volunteers using the erythema as endpoint and one of the established measuring protocols. The SPF is not only the result of the absorption properties of the UV-filter combination chosen and their concentration in he sunscreen product, but is influenced to a large extend by the film-building properties of the vehicle and the uniform distribution of the UV-filter(s) in the formulation. |
