The scalp is currently a hot topic in personal care, with new products and innovative approaches to scalp care and treatment. Consumer awareness of the importance of scalp health and its impact on hair health is increasing and driving the need for innovation. This is good news for hair care (where most scalp products sit) in terms of innovation and growth potential, and also offers strong opportunities of course for skin care active ingredients to transfer across into the hair care category. It is also good news for the many ingredient manufacturers that have been investing in exciting launches and new data. |
