Modification of film surface coating means improvement in durability and film performance. This article explains how the process works.
According to researchers at Al-Azhare university and Helwan university in Egypt, a considerable improvement in durability and the film performance of coatings can be achieved with a new raw material pre-cursor - m-phenylene dioxy diacetic acid (PDODA).
This recently synthesised material can be used in the production of various alkyds and polyester-amide resins by partial substitution of phthalic anhydride. |
