Résumé : |
The combination of different stabilisers as described above generated positive synergistic effects for the protection of interior coating against light and heat.
It could be shown that a stabiliser system consisting of UV-absorber and radical scavenger is good to excellent in exterior plastic coatings stabilisation - both in gloss retention and colour change behaviour.
Using the same - only light stabilisation - concept in car interior (soft feel) coatings is not sufficient to fulfill all demands. The addition of a small amount of a slow hydrolyzing phenolic antioxidant with low yellowing tendency can be advantageous to significantly reduce the colour development in heat-exposed coatings. |
