Résumé :	The author discusses benefits and challenges for UV curing in packaging applications. UV curing has overcome many hurdles to become an integral part of many printing and industrial finishing operations. An expanding range of raw material together with the skill and experience in formulating to make the best possible use of them has been critical in the progress so far. Greater appreciation of the features and benefits of UV lamp design has also been fundamental in ensuring that the maximum potential is gained from the chemistry advances. Continuation of this partnership will go a long way to meeting the remaining challenges of the flexible packaging market.
