Résumé : |
IBR-CalmDeAgee is an extract from palm date (Phoenix clactylifera) seeds. The date seeds` extraction preserves the inherent botanical capital of the date seed and delivers it for the most naturel active effect on the skin, resulting in a global enti-ageing effect as well as reduction of dark circles and rosacea.
Ancient 2000 year-old date seeds were found in an archaeological site, planted, and were able to germinate and grow. The dormins, preserving the seed youth for such a long period are able to slow down skin cell proliferation, slow down the biological dock and affect intrinsic ageing factors to maintain skin youthfulness.
Irritation reduction and activation of the alpha-2 adrenergic receptor of smooth muscle cells may result in a vasoconstriction effect that could lead to a reduction of the dark circles under the eyes and rosacea. These two were demonstrated in previous studies. In this article, data from a new clinicat trial is presented providing evidence for this theory by pointing to the dramatic beneficial effectlBR-CalmDeAge has on dark circles under the eyes. |

- FIGURES : 1. Photographs show a representative sample of the clinical study. The arrows point to the improvement observed with the use of IBR-Calm-DeAge. (Half the face was treated with 2% IBR-CalmDeAge, the other half with the placebo cream). The sides were randomly chosen - 2. Significant changes in the variation of the dark circles measure over the course of the clinical trial. The values represent overall visual scores of the areas under the eyes - 3. Cutometer measurements of skin around the eyes. Negative pressure sucks up an area of skin. The amount of skin that enters the chamber is related to the overall firmness of the skin. Firmer will resist the negative pressure and less will enter the chamber. This value refers to R0 values and a reduction in the R0 values which imply an increase in firmnes. Both creams show a decrease in R0 values with IBR-CalDeAge providing a significantly greater changer in firmness - 4. Elasticity measurements around the eye. Cutometer suctions the skin and then releases, measuring the time it takes the skin to return to normal. As opposed to the placebo, the active IBR-CalmDeAge shows a significant increase in the elasticity of the skin - 5. Responses to self-assessment questionnaires. The questions asked involved the following topics : Q1) capacity to decrease the skin redness ; Q2) improve dark circles, Q3) skin's sallowness, Q4) skin's softness, Q5) skin hydration, and Q6) skin visible youthfulness |
