Résumé : |
A new washing concept for wet-spun man-made fibers, where fanned fiber bundies are generated by water nozzles, is being developed. The development process is aided by CFD-Simulations and PlV-systems. In a first step conventional washing concepts are analyzed and their deficits are disclosed. The main deficit disclosed is the inhibited mass transfer of solvent in the compact fiber bundle. To overcome this deficit a method to fan the compact fiber bundie and to reduce fiber-fiber interfaces was developed. In lab scale experiments the chosen concept is reviewed. The next step in the development is the validation of the new washing concept in wet spinning trials at technical scale. Further investigations on improved box geometries are in progress. |
