Résumé : |
Although hair greying is a commonly observed phenomenon which
for years has been successfully camouflaged by sensitive individuals with well-designed colouring products, the literature on grey hair itself is scant. Several publications
[l-31 originating from medical circles focused on grey hair
as an index for ageing. Current surveys stress the importance of the subject particularly in view of the trend towards an ageing population. It has been tacitly assumed that the loss
of the melanin pigment (which is the observable aspect of hair greying) is not associated with any other obvious changes in hair. Questions concerning this have been requently raised but never satisfactorily answered. |
