Résumé : |
A new set of proprietary brush-type polyurethanes (Intercoshine family) with aliphatic side chains based on alkyl tartrate diol in a mixture of cosmetically accepted organic solvent (e.g. isododecane, ethanol) has been synthesised in a mixture of volatile aliphatic solvents accepted in cosmetic (isododecane and ethanol).
The composition of the polymers was varied, by changing the diisocyanate building block (IPDI and HDI) and the diol combined with the branched aliphatic allryl tartrate and three different polyurethanes, namely Intercoshine, Intercoshine Flex and Intercoshine Sil, were obtained.
Mechanical tests, gloss measurements and water contact angle were performed. The polymers here presented can generate extremely glossy and hydrophobic films, with elastic and adhesion properties that can be varied according to the properties of the nature of the building blocks and the composition.
Intercoshine polymers can be used as film-formers in anhydrous formulations (eg. lip fluid, eyeliner) or in W/0 and W/S emulsions conferring at the same time an extreme long-lasting and a very glossy finish combined with high skin adhesion wearing comfort. |
