Flexible, hard and tough coating materials are formulated with polyurethane raw materials for application in manydifferent market segments. This article covers the application of the polyurethane technology for floor coatings in various segments like industrial floors, Car Parking Decks, Sports floors, decorative floors. It also presents the application procedure, recommended number of layers, formulating a PU flooring system & the results based on intensive lab evaluations for the comparison of the Epoxy flooring with PU flooring in order to meet different performances. The life cycle cost analysis for the systems has also been discussed. The real life cases are analysed in th is article as well.
