Syn-Coll, the synthetic tripeptide from DSM, simultaneously boosts collagen production and protects against collagen degradation -two major factors in maintaining the strutural integrity of skin. By acting on the TGF-β pathway, Syn-Coll mimics the body's own mechanism to result in visibly younger-looking skin. But DSM's recent in vivo study in China shows that Syn-Coll is not only a global solution but also has a multi-ethnic appeal and can be tailored to suit different regional needs, including those of the Asian market. |
