Résumé : |
Today, we let's turn our attention to a very important subject called in-can and dry film preservatives, which are the two very vital ingredients in the making of the Water based Paints. I have corne across many SSI Paint manufacturers who have a scant respect for these additives. Their thinking is, 'why in-can preservative should be added ? After all the products would have been sold in one month, so where is the necessity of this additive ?' They think they can save lot of money, but in the event if the Water based Paints manufactured without in-can preservative, stored in the factory and when it reaches the Dealer, approximately three months would have been lost. This period is sufficient for the bacteria to grow in the Paint in the absence of in-can preservative and eventually the entire lot will become rot with foul smelling rendering the paint unusable. So they would have lost lot of money, instead of the gain he was dreaming. I have seen many such cases who regret for their mistake. |
