The paper describes the development steps of a thermoplastic tape placement head, the requirements concerning the tape quality, the process limitations regarding the presentable in-plane radii, impacts of low axial angle deviations on the tape placement head, and evaluates the laminate quality achievable by in-situ consolidation. |
