Résumé : |
The new polyester based monofilament with electrostatic conductive properties AntiStat by Perlon Nextrusion Monofil GmbH, Bobingen/Germany, was designed for the manufacturing of process and conveyor belts which are used in various industries like the production of nonwovens, the manufacture of particle boards and combustible pellets. Antistat can be woven or alternatively be coiled to produce spiral fabrics. Process belts are generally made out of polyester threads and incorporate electrostatic dissipative monofilaments aiming at dissipating the electrostatic charges built-up during the process. The dissipation of electrostatic charges is required on one hand to improve the runnability of the belts and on the other hand to reduce the explosion hazards in compliance with the ATEX (explosive atmospheres) European directive. Antistat is also appropriate for use as semi-conductive layer for high-voltage cable shielding. |
