However, the high manu facturing costs and other disadvantages threatened its long-term viability. As a result, research was conducted to identify the issues and drivers of employment in the green technology paint industries and investigate the future trend of green technology paints. Green coatings are environmentally friendly and produce almost no volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The green layers are water-based, high-solid, powder, and radiation-hardened coatings. These coatings are made from natural ingredients such as vegetable oil, soybean oil, castor oil, milk, and clay. They aid in reducing the harmful effects of infrared and ultraviolet (UV) radiations white also increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment. As a result, they can be found in various industries, including construction, automotive, oil and gas, m in ing, aviation, aerospace, and marine. This paper will look at multiple methods for green technology through raw materials, manufacturing processes, and applications. The composition and the fundamental qualities of each monomer have been discussed. The synthesis of acrylic copolymers was discussed to possess advantages of the acrylic monomer. Waterborne acrylic resin modification has received a lot of interest depending on the requirements for various resin qualities. The acrylic emulsion based coatings provide fire retardant properties, antibacterial properties, thermal stability properties, antifouling properties, multi-functional coating with high chemical and corrosion resistance properties. The application of waterborne acrylic emulsion resins in the field of construction industry, automobile industry, anticorrosive coating, wooden furniture and exterior coatings usually applied as coatings on bridges, ships and locomotives and other applications are discussed with detailed examples.
