Military assets are regarded as flags for the respective countries acting as ocean going 'Ambassadors', flying as fighter 'Aviators' and attacking as Army 'Avengers'. Hence they always attract a great deal of attention from the public and media alike. Defense chattels are high technology, high performance and high cost assets designed to equip combat ready forces with the necessary means to provide strategic defense to support peace keeping humanitarian and military operations worldwide. At a moment's notice, all armed force services have to be available for active duty and ready response. "Defense Coating" is essential to provide High level of protection as well as high level of decoration to military assets to enhance Nation's Operating efficiency and Operating image as well. Coating Technology discussed in this paper relates to Aerospace, ground Army and Navy needs (Marine and Coast Guard needs will come under Navy) but in large part, the coating requirements are similar and amenable for all 'TriServices'. |
