It serves many advantages to the various industries, household section, automotives and so on. Many have negative views on plastic but the fact is plastic occupies a large section in our day-to-day life. Apart from its disadvantages, it serves many good properties. Different varieties in it like amorphous, transparent, thermoplast, thermosets are good enough to occupy large application area. To improve its performance or to extend its lifespan various coatings on plastic substrates cornes into the picture. This review explains the five different types of coatings on plastics; anti-scratch coating, anti-fog coating, anti-reflection coating, peelable coating and in the last section various coatings are noted down in miscellaneous coating section. Each of the coating serves good properties along with cost efficiency and properly adhere to the substrate. These coatings increase the sign ificant properties of plastic substrates and broaden its application area. Although it was discovered in Cornwall, England in 1791, titanium dioxide pigment was not commercially exploited until 1913, when it was created using a fusion technique. Farup and Jebsen developed the Sulphuric acid method, also known as the Sulphate process, in Norway, and commercial production began in 1918. It is stilI the most important component in the synthesis of titanium dioxide pigments. The alternative method, the Chloride procedure, is a more recent invention, with pigments produced by this method first commercialised in 1958. Note de contenu : - Why titanium is more precious ?

Promoteurs d'adhésionIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Certain polymeric substrates, such as polyolefins, fluoropolymers, and silicone rubber are difficult to bond and present challenges to both the formulator and the end-user. The main reason that these materials present problems is their low surface energy which is unlike metals, ceramics, and most other polymers. The low surface energy simply prevents conventional adhesives from making intimate contact with the substrate surface and this reduces adhesion. While finding solutions for better bonding in these substrates, the joint interface becomes the overriding concern. Proper selection of surface treatment and adhesive system for the specific substrate are the main steps involved in improving the process. These bonding mechanisms are well established and represented by important theories of adhesion. Let us discuss different aspects which you should consider while bonding low energy substrates. RevêtementsIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Ready Mix plaster is a premixed ready to use cernent based mortar for externat as well as internat plaster, which ensures quality consistency. It is a single connponent water resistance monolithic plastering/rendering mortar with a ratio of graded sand, cement and polymers for applications in civil construction works.
Ready Mix Plaster is especially made to give a superior finish to the walls. A premix single application plaster, it is made to improve the performance and workabiIity. Ready mix plaster works effectively on both even and uneven backgrounds, which means that this ready mix can be used for both fine surface finishing and thick base plastering as per the requirements. Ready Mix plaster is a blend of Portland cement, fine graded sand and water soluble, high quality polymer additives, in the right proportions generally mixing ratio is kept as 5:1 it is ready to use by simpty mixing water at the site and can be easily applied on brick, block and concrete surfaces.Note de contenu : - Benefits of RM plaster
