Résumé : |
ONE step forward towards more green chemistries is the global need of the day. The demand for more eco-friendly chemicals is felt in more or less all types of industries including paint industry. Biocides that are made, used or disposed of in a way that significantly reduces the harm they would otherwise cause to the environment, could be considered an eco-friendly biocide. Biocides which are highlighted as being environmentally friendly should, alter completing its job, break down to non-toxic constituents with no potential to bio-accumulate.
Green Chemistry is the design of chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances. Green Chemistry is more environmentally benign, linking the design of chemical products and processes with their impacts on human health and the environnent. Thus green chemistry concepts play a key rote for sustainabi I ity by positively impacting the environnent as well as human health and safety. |
