Résumé : |
In-depth development efforts and marketing trials over a period of several years have results in the successful commercial use of several UV FIP elastomer gaskets at selected applications in the automotive and consumer products markets. UV resin technology for assembly applications began to be seriously exploited in the early 1980s.
The advances since then have led to its adoption in many applications across the industrial spectrum. UV urethanes have replaced traditional adhesive technologies and in some cases mechanical fasteners, and have carved out for themselves respectable niches in many assembly industry markets. However, gaskets may or may not also be adhesives. As with the other approaches to applications and markets, it remains to be seen where these new materials will prove most adaptable. |
