Résumé : |
From the above information we can conclude that the question of whether an adhesive is recycling-friendly can't be answered without knowledge of its application. Adhesive film that occur in internal recycling processes are required to have good water-solubility and small influence on the COD-value. The dissolved and re-emulsified particles should not accumulate, as this can lead to secondary stickies if thermoplastic materials are concerned. These requirements are also valid for adhesives that are used for bag production of so-called "beaten bags". Most adhesives get into the paper mill with post-consumer waste. As many impurities get into the process together with the waste paper, these mills have lavish sorting systems. It is demanded from the adhesive films to be removable by mechanical screening as early as possible. |
