The currently studied acrylate raw materials offer only limited pressure-sensitive properties coupled with exceptional shear and heat resistance. These formulas may offer utility in certain applications, but are not likely to be useful for labels for traditional paper type substrates. The problem is the need to include a non-reactive tackifier into a reactive system in order to obtain pressure-sensitive properties. |
