Résumé : |
The stress relaxation studies for 4 different varieties of sugar cane, namely CO-86032, COM-265, COC-671 and CoVSI-9805, with 3 levels of maturity, namely 12, 13 and 14 months for each variety, were carried out. The experiment was conducted at 50% of the average breaking extension, of the sugar cane fibers. It is observed that the relaxation level for all the cases range between 27-50%. The relaxation constant π for COM265, COC671 and COVSI9805 varieties is almost half the value, compared to the C086032, indicating that the relaxation is slow in case of C086032 variety. |
