Carbon black pigment is one of the key pigments used in variety of coatings applications. Traditionally these pigments were produced mainly by cracking of hydrocarbons. The carbon black particles consist of layer planes, similar like graphite. These layers are not precisely oriented and aligned. Various manufacturing technologies have been introduced time to time. Now, with the innovative softbead technology, carbon black properties have been further enhanced for maximum advantages to ultimate users. These includes ease of dispersion, early dispersion, reduction of dispersing additives, high jetness, handling transportation, industrial hygiene etc. Ultimately all these advantages result in clean operation, lower production cost and higher production. |
