Résumé : |
Phenolic resins have enjoyed a valuable niche in the coatings industry for many decades. Their excellent performance characteristics coupled with outstanding versatility have made phenolics a provide value in various coatings applications. Although the coatings industry is undergoing significant changes due to environmental and regulatory pressures, phenolics are playing an important role in this evolutionary process. The true value of phenolic polymers is in their ability to enhance the performance properties of various base polymers with relatively low addition levels. A the base polymer systems have evolved over the years, phenolics too have been able to make the transition to these new systems. |
