Résumé : |
Chrome tanning is a series of reactions which occur between hide proteins and a system of basic chrome complexes. If we talk about the kinetics of the reacrion, we mean the change in the number of molecules in the product with time (1).
Tomas et al. (2) and Tomas and Kelly (3) investigated the exhaustion of tanning liquor in relation to time and stated that the bonds of basic chrome salts cannot be described as mono-, bi-, or trimolecular reactions, because chrome tanning is a complex of more processes. From 1945 to 1951 Briggs (4) published a number of studies dealing with the kinetics of chrome tanning. In his investigation of the velocity of basic chrome salt exhaustion from tanning liquors he proved that the velocity of change in concentration in the course of chrome tanning at every time point is proportional to the concentration of the tanning liquor |
