Since its inception eight years ago, the Composites Innovation Centre (CIC) has been actively involved in the development and implementation of composite materials in Manitoban and Western Canadian ground transportation industrial applications. These industrial applications include mass transit, agriculture, automotive and leisure vehicles. The manufacturers of these vehicles need to differentiate their products in order to gain market share. They also have to find savings in their manufacturing and assembly processes in order to increase their profit margins. |
