Development factors pushing the developments are economy, productivity, environment and new technical requirements for special properties. Recently high structured visco-elastic resins have been the major source to solving these wishes. Current demands are solved with high soluble structured visco-elastic resins and structured visco-elastic alkyds. Immediate future demands will be filled by the introduction of hybrid and non rosin based structured visco-elastic resins and novel types of alkyds. Resin supplied in solution form is most likely to be the dominant delivery form in the near future. |
