Textiles et tissus à usages techniquesIndex. décimale : 677.4 Textiles artificiels Résumé : Climate change is causing rising temperatures and an increa-sing number of dry spells, and not only during the summer months. In cities especially, cooling and water storage are thus becoming more and more important. In contrast to sealed surfaces, water surfaces can provide cool, and green areas can store rainwater. But how can green areas and water storage be created without the necessary space available ? Lakes or green areas cannot be created where there are already buildings, roads, playgrounds or parking lots. Well, the green areas must be vertical then ! Note de contenu : - Mosses grow vertically on textiles
- Creating optimal growth conditions even on large façades
