Revêtements en phase aqueuse:Peinture en phase aqueuseIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Fluorinated resins are known for high performance, particularly in long term, exterior durability. Fluoroethylene vinyl ether or FEVE resins, a family of fluorinated resins, have a unique alternating copolymer structure allowing them to be dissolved in solvent, as well as emulsified in water for formulating liquid coatings. As environmental initiatives are becoming less compulsory and industry is taking proactive measures to protect the environment, waterborne and high solids paint is ever increasing in demand.
Studies encompass both 1K and 2K formulations and focus on dispersant type, coalescing agents and methods of altering gloss. Results of the many tests that measure critical properties of high performance coatings will be presented. Testing includes water resistance,
chemical resistance, vapeur permeability, solar reflectance properties and mould resistance along with corrosion resistance and accelerated weathering. Formulations based on blends of FEVE resins with other polyols, like acrylic polyols and polyester polyols will also be explored.Note de contenu : - FEVE resin technology

Le second groupe en importance de matériaux en silicone est celui des résines de silicone, formées par des oligosiloxanes ramifiés ou en forme de cage (wiki).Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The fluorine-silicone modified acrylate-dibutyl fumarate emulsions were successfully prepared via semi-continuous seed emulsion polymerisation technology when MMA, DBF, VTES and HFMA were used to be the co-polymerised monomers and the mixture of SDBS and APG and KPS were used as the emulsifier and the initiator, respectively. The optimum recipe of preparing the emulsion is as follows : the amount of emulsifiers is 5% and the mass ratio of SDBS and APG is 1:4 ; the amount of initiator is 0.6% and the content of the fluorine monomer and silicon monomer is 6% and 8%, respectively. In comparison with the acrylate-dibutyl fumarate emulsion without fluorine monomer and silicon monomer, the thermal stability and the water resistance of the modified emulsion film are clearly improved. Revêtements poudre:Peinture poudreIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Powder coating systems have been developed to provide scratch modified and super durable coatings that maintain gloss levels following stringent testing.
The definition of scratch resistance according to DIN describes the resistance of paint films under defined conditions towards point-like, linear or two-dimensional loads. Checking the quality of the adhesion of paints is a special metrological challenge, that's why a large number of specific procedures exist in the audit practice. To determine the scratch resistance, the standards DIN EN ISO 1518 parts 1 & 2 and DIN EN ISO 12137 are particularly suitable.Note de contenu : - MATERIAL-RELATED PHYSICAL ASPECTS OF SCRATCH RESISTANCE : Sratch resistance

Research and development efforts continue in the pursuit of more thermally stable, more light fast and plate-out resistant fluorescent colourants, with greater tinting strength and opacity. As these qualities are achieved and improved upon, we should see the use and growth of fluorescent pigments and colourants into more diverse applications well into the future.
