Résumé : |
Extenders (or fillers) have traditionally been used to reduce the cost of inks and pigmented coatings. Titanium dioxide is by far the most important white pigment currently used. It is inert and exhibits very good lightfastness and heat resistance. The substitution of a part of titanium dioxide by extenders reduces the raw material cost of formulations. Hence, they are increasingly used to develop competitive cost-effective formulations. |
