Résumé : |
Reducing paint consumption is a fundamental aim of many plastic coating operations. The following article shows however a selective conversion of an existing plant can help to reduce paint consumption.
Since the 1970s, there has been constantly increasing trend towards using plastics in the automotive industry. Whereas painting processes in the past had to be adapted to the increased demands for quality, it is necessary today to create large-scale painting processes that are particularly cost-effective. In the last few years therefore, the painting process for plastic components has become technically demanding and complex. |
