Taille des particulesIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : This article leads to the development of a mathematical expression for calculation of the CPVC in latex coatings (LCPVC) in emulsions) as a function of the particle size relationship between the binder (or resin) and the pigmentary system present in the coatings.
Where revious works have related LCPVC to resin particle size, here the resin and the pigmentary system particle sizes are not consideres independently, and the expression which is deduced is a function of the ration between them.
By using an idealised "compact spheres model", based on the theoretical CPVC definition, a new model expression is developed to mathematically determine the LCPVC. The proposed model is semi-theoretical in nature, since it requires the use of constants which have been obtained experimentally by other authors.Note de contenu : - The concept of CPVC
