Les résultats ont montré que la performance optimale du film est réalisée pour une épaisseur de film de 40-5O μm. La performance du film peut être encore améliorée en réduisant la dimension des particules de poudre de très grande taille. Balfour, Auteur Année de publication : 1998 Article en page(s) : p. 533-549 Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : Titane 'Pigment blanc' Procédé Sulfate Chlore Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : Titanium dioxyde has been known for over two hundred years since its discovery (by William Gregor) in the late eighteenth century. Early developments are described, and attention is paid to the changes which the commercial exploitation of the new white pigment. the challenge involved the general improvement of properties such as opacity, dispersion and durability. Currently, titanium dioxide pigments are manufactured by two processes which are described. The fondamental physical properties are compared with other white pigments and the reasons for the dominance of titanium dioxide explained. The market situation in terms of the quantities of pigment used in various market sectors is also discussed. Note de contenu : - The manufacture of titanium dioxyde pigments

Langues : Anglais (eng) Tags : Peinture Fabrication Broyage 'Pigment minéral' 'Titane Oxyde' Dispersion TiO2 Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The process of dispersing of pigments is one of the most fundamental features involved in the manufacture of surface materials. This paper is intended to give an overview of some of the fundamental concepts associated with the subject. It is written with the intention of providing a simple introduction to pigment dispersion and the principles involved without including complex theories and mathematics. Although this paper deals with titanium dioxide pigment, much of the details given apply to most solid dispersion systems. Note de contenu : - PARTICLES : Crystals - Agglomerates - Flocculates
