Résumé : |
The well established 2K-PUR coatings for plastic substrates are challenged by the need of the industry to reduce costs and production time as well as emissions and fogging, but at the same time increase the coatings quality (e.g. scratch or chemical resistance) and improve the processibility. Starting with the well established solvent based 2K-PUR-systems, the possibilities to adjust the coating system - with regard to elasticity, scratch resistance, chemical resistance - will be shown. For the need to reduce emissions during application one can Increase the solid content to e.g. 60% or higher. In addition to 2K-PUR the possibility of 1K-PUR (at baking temperatures of less than 100 °C) will be shown. If this is not sufficient enough for reducing VOC, then waterborne 2K-PUR is the system of choice. Here, the same possibilities for adjusting the properties of the coating system to the need of the plastic substrate exist. |
