To assure their successful use it is essential to avoid deterioration of aggregate stability may be caused by different dispersion composition of combined dispersion phases, in all cases however the determining factor is electrokinetic property of dispersions. In this study the influence of dispersion phase particles, pH of dispersion medium of combined acrylic dispersions and alkyd emulsions stabilized with different types of surfactants on electrokinetic potential is shown. Note de contenu : - Characterization of an electric double layer
- Factors influencing the electrokinetic potential of dispersion phase particles
- ζ-potential of alkyd emulsions with different particle sizes is negative in a wide range of pH values
- ζ-potential increases when pH exceeds 7.0
- Light transmission is sharply decreased in incompatibility zonePermalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=11015

Titre : Stability of alkyd-acrylic compositions Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Olga A. Kulikova, Auteur ; Eugeny A. Indeikin, Auteur ; Vladimir B. Manerov, Auteur Année de publication : 1999 Article en page(s) : p. 44-50 Note générale : Bibliogr. Langues : Anglais (eng) Index. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : To prepare paint materials by mixing a polymer dispersion and an alkyd emulsion, while these paint materials have the properties of both binders, is possible. But the main problem to solve is to prevent heterocoagulation of combined dispersions. In this article it is shown that aggregate stability of ultraheterogeneous systems which are compositions of acrylic dispersions and alkyd oligomer emulsions, with all other things being equal, is determined both by their ratio and dispersion composition. Note de contenu : - Alkyd emulsions and polymeric dispersions with different benefits
- When equalizing particle size, the probality of collision between particles tend to zero
- Studying the influence of their dispersion composition of the coagulation process
- Determination of the particle size distribution for different ratios
- Large particles found in different aggregate states
- It is necessary to use diuspersions and emulsions close in their disopersion compositionsEn ligne : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PE0az_mVVJj7PS2Qzvj1vssplUA8QpDo/view?usp=drive [...] Format de la ressource électronique : Permalink : https://e-campus.itech.fr/pmb/opac_css/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=11211
