Microémulsions
PesticidesUn pesticide est une substance répandue sur une culture pour lutter contre des organismes considérés comme nuisibles. C'est un terme générique qui rassemble les insecticides, les fongicides, les herbicides, les parasiticides.
Produits naturelsIndex. décimale : 668.1 Agents tensioactifs : savons, détergents Résumé : Microemulsions are preferred over conventionally used pesticide systems for their long term thermodynamic stability, low viscosity, cost economy and aesthetic appeal. Such systems provide a method for preparing an isotropic mixture of oil and water. Neem and Karanjia isolates have proven activities. Therefore, uses of these oils provide a biologically and environmentally acceptable pesticide formulation. The present investigation deals with the systematic study to arrive at the economical composition for formulating microemulsion systems using these oils. These microemulsions, when diluted with water, formed macroemulsions which were stable over an extended period of time. Huile de sésameIndex. décimale : 667.9 Revêtements et enduits Résumé : The preset study aims to evaluate the performance of sesame oil as an alternative of soybean and linseed oil in the formulation of offset printing ink. Three sets of rosin modified phenolic resin based varnishes were made for offset ink applications (sheet fed ink) using linseed, soya and sesame oil as vegetable oil sources. Three offset cyan inks were made with these three varnishes and were critically evaluated the performance of the inks. Sesame oil showed significant advantages on the controlled rheological properties with good print and post print properties in comparison with other conventional oils like soya and linseed Sesame oil produced a superior quality of printed specimen with less hazards in the runnability in the machine. So sesame oil can be used successfully as an alternative vegetable oil in printing ink formulation. Basic mathematical logic and equations are exhaustively dealt to arrive the solution of the colour matching problem. The scientific concept of colour involves an effective potential for measuring and controlling the colour of the emulsion paint. Necessary equations, gloss factor at varying level of PVC and data generation methodology are discussed for pratical match prediction, batch correction, recipe generation and tolerance setting of emulsion shades. A judicial use of advanced colour-software simplified the exercise. Note de contenu : - BATCH EQUATION USED IN COLOUR-MATCHING
