PHENOBIOâ„¢ subcritical water extraction technology meets the challenges of the 21st century, to protect both the environment and consumers through a sustainable and innovative process. The eco-friendly extraction technology was applied to locally-sourced organic stevia to obtain STEVISSEâ„¢ advanced botanical ingredient, which presents a retinoid-like activity to achieve a younger looking complexion in a sustainable way and without retinoids side effect on the skin. SteviaIndex. décimale : 668.5 Parfums et cosmétiques Résumé : Sinerga's Dolcevia® (INC) : Stevioside) is a natural pure glycoside extracted from the dry leaves of the well-known Stevia rebaudiana plant.
The ingredient minimises smooth muscle contractions, acting like a naturel skin de-stressing agent that reduces the muscles' involuntary microtensions and restores skin wellness.
Stevioside's relaxing activity has been associated to different targets on smooth muscles. In order to better validate the spasmolytic activity and the potential skin care applications as a 'de-stressing' agent, Sinerga conducted tests to determine its efficacy as a potential skin 'de-stresser' for various anti-ageing formulations.
In this article are shown the methods and results of clinical tests demonstrating the effect of Dolcevia on overall facial appearance including wrinkles. After only 7 days of treatment, PRIMOS results show a decrease of wrinkle depth (17%), wrinkle height (14%) and average roughness (14%).Note de contenu : - Figure 1.
