Fibrilles de collagèneLa fibrille de collagène est une structure constituée d'un assemblage de fibres de tropocollagène (assemblage de 3 protéines de collagène alpha (alpha 1 - alpha 1 - alpha 2) en une hélice droite.
RetannageIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : In this article, the topology of fibrils and the aggregate structure of leather fibres were characterised by TEM and SEM to reveal the effects of PAA on the different scale of the structure of leather. The results show that PAA has little influence on the collagen molecules array and collagen fibres aggregate structure in the wet state. But, during air-drying PAA observably influences the collagen fibres aggregate structure. After being PAA retanned, the air-dried leather fibres become thinner and the space between fibres increases. Stabilité thermiqueIndex. décimale : 675 Technologie du cuir et de la fourrure Résumé : The influences of drying methods on the thermal stability of leather were investigated. The results show that drying methods have an obvious effect on the water content and hydrogen bonds between collagen fibres. The water content of leather after freeze drying is less than that after air drying. The collagen fibres after air drying combine more tightly than after freeze drying. Concerning stronger hydrogen bonds between collagen fibres, the thermal stability of air-dried leather is better than that of freeze-dried leather. Tannage organiqueIndex. décimale : 675.2 Préparation du cuir naturel. Tannage Résumé : The retanning mechanism of PAA was studied from the point of fibre motion. The stress state of collagen fibres retanned with PAA was analysed and the structure of retanned leather was characterised by SEM and strain-stress analysis. The results show that PAA mainly interacts with collagen fibres by adhesive force (AF) between collagen fibres and capillary flow. As PAA dosage increases, AF increases and the collagen fibre's array becomes more disordered. Note de contenu : - Change of stress state of collagenfibres after being retanned with PAA

Tannage Résumé : Highly branched polymers (HBPs) were prepared via free-radical polymerization of methacrylic acid (MAA) with polyfunctional allyl co-monomer (mono-trimethylolpropan trimaleate, PTPTM) at various n(MAA)/n(MTPTM) ratios. HBPs were employed in retanning wet-blue pigskins and the retanned leathers were evaluated by their physical properties such as tensile strength, tear strength, extension at break and organoleptic properties including softness, fullness, smoothness and tightness. The results showed that HBPs did well in filling and retanning leather and especially in the case of n(MAA)/n(MTPTM) = 12:1 (HBP-4). HBP-4 was characterized by HNMR, SEC, DSC and TGA, the results indcated that the polymer showed polydispersity (PDI = 1.456, Mw 27,024, Mn 15 566), its TG/DTG curves showed two-stage decomposition with two weight loss temperature maxima (206.38°C and 429.57°C), the single glass transition on the DSC curve and the Tg (209.98°C) which was lower than that of poly-methacrylic acid (227.85°C) implies that HBP-4 molecules have better flexibility than PMMA and there is no phase separation in the polymer. Tannage organiqueIndex. décimale : 675.2 Préparation du cuir naturel. Tannage Résumé : In this work, a triazine tanning agent of 4-((4,6-dichloro-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)amino) benzenesulfonic acid (SAT) was prepared with cyanuric chloride and sodium p-aminobenzene sulfonate, its structure was confirmed by FTIR spectroscopy, and its tanning property was investigated. The results indicate that SAT can raise the Ts of tanned skin to around 75°C at the optimised dosage of 3%. The stability of tanned leather was tested by washing with aqueous solution of 10w% urea, lOw% NaCI and 14 acetone. The results of washing show that the tanned leather of SAT has excellent stability and there are stable covalent bond interactions between SAT and collagen fibres. Based on the results of washing and the structure characteristics of SAT, a tanning mechanism of SAT was given in which the second Cl and the third CI on the triazine ring can both react with collagen fibres under mild tanning conditions of 35°C to 45°C.
