Paint biocide manufacturers are increasingly being challenged by various regulatory restrictions as well as consumer demands for safer and better products. This has resulted in the development of new generation biocides with lower toxicity profiles without compromising on their efficacy. This article gives an overview of some of the regulations governing paint biocides and the safer alternative biocide formulations being offered through Clariant's Nipacide range of biocides. |
