Styrene butadiene rubber latex, have gained tremendous popularity in the last few years, mainly, their versatile properties, applications and cost effectiveness. At one end, the vinyl and acrylic monomers prices in the international market are increasing, leading to new opportunities for further growth to SBR latex.
The paper will narrate the various developments in reference with the number of polymer emulsions, presently available, to the users, in different fields, and their cost and performance in the specific areas of surface coatings. Though prime importance has not been given to SBR latex, the actual users are finding it more convenient to use this versatile polymer latex. |
