Both Puresterol and parabens express on the ERs. Both are oestrogenic. One enhances the biological systems in both men and women and one is a generally agreed to be an endocrine disruptor. While it may be unfair to compare an ingredient that reverses ageing with a preservative, the proponents of parabens are clinging to the benefits of an oestrogenic-like naturel substance and therefore is claimed to be safe. Parabens block the ERs until their half-life makes them so weak they are removed through the kidney, after being transported in the blood stream. Puresterol expresses briefly on the ER and leaves the system in the form of its metabolites, with no trace in the blood or urine.
