Résumé : |
Pearl lustre pigments have been used in automotive coatings in mass production in the USA since the beginning of the eighties. In 1989, about 35% of all automotive finishes in the USA were formulated with pearl lustre pigments and there is still a slight upward trend.
In europe we are currently at the beginning of a similar development. Pearl lustre finishes have also been familiar here for some time and the first large series in these new xolors are now leaving the coating lines of the automobile manufacturers. |
