Résumé : |
Radiation curing (UV/EB) technology has enjoyed almost three decades of steady growth in Europe, USA and is now gaining wide acceptance in the developed and developing countries of Asia at the expense of traditional coating technologies. The evolution and success of radiation curing technology is driven by low temperature and rapid cure speed, high performance of the coatings, quality, durability and environmental pressure to reduce volatile organic solvents. This paper will discuss the basic chemistry underlying UV/EB curing, explore the numerous application areas and how this latest technology can address the demands ofthe market (customers) as the technology for the 21st century. |
