Normal (matte or even glossy) coatings do not exhibit significiant colour change with the change in the viewing angle. Hence, these can be easily assesed using conventional sphere (or 45/0) spectrophotometers. The use of these instruments is widely accepted, and they are routinely used in the Indian paint industry. |
