For many applications a matt coating is rather preferred than a high gloss appearance. It can be distinguished between dull matt, matt, semigloss and high gloss coatings. For powder paints different methods and matting agents are available for hybrid, TGIC and TGIC-free systems. Matting effect depends on matting agent, polyester resin and filler types. Corresponding results are presented and influences on film performance are discussed. |
