Résumé : |
In today's consumer oriented society, colour is an important feature that will affect a customer's decision when choosing one product over another. This is the reason why special-effect finishes are increasingly present in the wider goods market. Optical effects such as iridescence, pearlescence, sparkling and metallic can be bound in a wide range of applications, ranging from automotives to mobile phones and cosmetics. Indeed, the special effects tend to enhance the look of the product and make it more eye-catching to potential customers. In addition, the effect has a tendency to impart a level of superiority to the product when compared alongside a plain coloured equivalent. |
