Résumé : |
A radiation curable binder system for powder coating based on maleate-vinyl ether chemistry has been a reality and it is expected to break the monopoly of PU and TSA in heat sensitive substrates. The binder system consists of an unsaturated polymer and a vinyl ether polyurethane. Curing is a two step process – first heating the substrate upto 100°C for melting and flowing of paint and subsequent UV exposure for cross linking reaction, the whole process takes less than two minutes time. |
